The UK’s leading training provider is to release a report on site shortcomings and solutions following an industry survey. With October now confirmed as National Forklift Safety Month 2019, employers are being urged to take this as an opportunity to review their working procedures in a bid to drive down what industry leaders describe as the “stubbornly high levels of accidents and injuries”. The Fork Lift Truck Association is calling all entries for the annual prestigious event to be held on Saturday 21st March 2020. Now in its 26th year, the FLTA Awards for Excellence is the longest running industry awards presentation of its kind and is a highlight of the materials handling event calendar. The Awards are free to enter and importantly, companies can self-nominate, allowing them to put forward the initiatives and products that they are most proud of. Following several days of rain, players coped well with the sodden fairways and the tournament saw some outstanding performances.
