Hiab, part of Cargotec, launches the MOFFETT E4 NX, its next generation eSeries of electric forklifts and the world’s first all electric 3-wheel drive truck mounted forklift. Inside the chassis of a MOFFETT M4, Hiab has constructed a zero-emission truck mounted forklift powered by lithium ion batteries with new controllers and the new HMI (Human Machine Interface) that displays battery capacity, machine performance and service information. The MOFFETT can be charged from a regular household socket or a 30 amp socket for faster charging, as well as from the truck in between deliveries. JLG to re-badge Spanish telehandlers

Spanish manufacturer Ausa has signed a 10-year deal to supply one of its compact telehandler models for JLG to re-badge. Ausa’s current T144H compact telehandler will be re-badged by JLG for the US market as the SkyTrak 3013. This machine weighs around 2,400 kg and it has a loading capacity of 1,220 kg and a lifting height of four metres. It has four-wheel drive and rear steering, a hydrostatic transmission system and two accessory attachment options. It is powered by a Kubota V-1505 diesel engine with 19 kW of power. It recently delivered the 15,000th unit into the UK – an Aisle Master articulated truck supplied by Combilift dealer Briggs Equipment to the Sudbury, Suffolk, site of its customer Nestlé.
