Combilift launches new Aisle Master Order Picker

Handling, Manufacturer
Combilift officially launched the latest addition to its product portfolio in a virtual press conference on February 3rd. The NEW Aisle Master-OP (AME-OP) is a stand-on electric powered model that combines the advantages of a narrow aisle articulated forklift and an order picker for versatile operation in warehousing applications. The development of this model was influenced by customer feedback - as has often been the case with Combilift’s innovations - as well as the recent soaring growth of e-commerce. “Customers already using the Aisle Master for space saving, storage and efficiency in their warehouse asked if we could redevelop the Aisle Master to meet their ever-growing demand for order picking customised orders”, said Combilift CEO Martin McVicar. The development of this m...

New Combilift container slip-sheet

New Combilift container slip-sheet

Innovation
Loads a 20' container in just three minutes Combilift’s latest innovation, the Combilift Container Slip-Sheet (Combi-CSS), has been designed for quicker and easier mechanised loading of products (particularly long ones) into containers. First unveiled during Combilift’s 20th anniversary last year, this product is now in serial production. The Combi-CSS addresses the challenges associated with the combination of forklifts and manual labour often required for this application. Using a forklift to lift and manoeuvre the product laterally into the container and another forklift operator to push the load into the container from the end is time consuming and not overly efficient. Following the launch of the Combilift Straddle Carrier a few years ago, feedback from customers in the containe...

Mexmast offer Multidirectional Solutions

Dealer
Crown Imperial has recently overhauled and enhanced handling procedures at its Herne Bay headquarters by bringing in a number of Combilift models to replace counterbalance and reach trucks that were previously used. PWE reports. The wide variety of raw materials and the varying dimensions of finished products that need to be moved around and stored at the 10,000m² production facility in Herne Bay, required versatile equipment, and store manager Bruce Whiting was also keen to reduce the level of ride-on forklift traffic, particularly in areas where a lot of other personnel are present. Taking advice from Jon Collett of materials handling consultants Mexmast, he looked at the Combilift range and found the ideal solution in the form of Combi-WR4 multidirectional pedestrian stackers and...
