Every day, five fork lift truck drivers are injured or killed – but a new campaign aims to to stop these tragic accidents happening. The Fork Lift Truck Association has launched its ‘Safetember’ campaign, which will run next month as part of National Fork Lift Safety Month. The theme – ‘Make sure they get home safe’ urges truck operators and their employers to take truck safety seriously. It comes as an estimated 1,300 fork lift truck accidents happen in the UK every year, and five drivers are injured or killed every day. Lisa Ramos is a Safety Ambassador for the FLTA.
