Combilift has produced 50,000 of its customised handling solutions since the company was established 21 years ago. It recently delivered the 15,000th unit into the UK – an Aisle Master articulated truck supplied by Combilift dealer Briggs Equipment to the Sudbury, Suffolk, site of its customer Nestlé. About a third of all units manufactured so far by Combilift at its HQ in Monaghan have been shipped to the UK, confirming CEO and Co-founder Martin McVicar’s view that this country has always been, still is and will remain the most important market for Combilift amongst the 85 countries to which it exports. The first electric-powered JCB Teletruks to be sold in the UK have been acquired by an independent timber and builders’ merchant. Lawsons – a family-owned company operating in London and the South East – has ordered five new JCB 30-19E electric-powered Teletruks following successful trials of the machine at a number of its sites.
